How long does the search take?
The initial search can take at least 31 days. This is delayed
even further because of the recently introduced Privacy

your signed form it will take even longer. We also search
other Eligible Rollover Funds (ERFs) and Super funds
that you have nominated that
may take longer to respond.

take place?
When you apply to Findmysuper you sign a search form. The
form is used to search Eligible Rollover funds and the lost

that keep data on lost super monies before 1992. The search

the form with all your data must be printed. You need to
then sign the authority and fax/post it to us to enable
us to conduct the search. If you cannot print the form from
your computer then you need to contact us on 1800 333 713

nd you one. Because of privacy regulations
we will retain this form to confirm your identity when we

Can a result be guaranteed?
We cannot guarantee a match. The Super funds may not have
nominated you as lost. We will retain your authority for
future matching and advise you when other matches are discovered.
Under the new privacy principles introduced in 2001, it
may be necessary for you to contact some funds directly

In virtually all cases the answer is no. Avoid illegal schemes that try to get your super money out early, and save yourself from getting cheated and from heavy tax and legal penalties. These schemes are sometimes promoted by word of mouth or shady advertising.
